My Review
It is no secret that I am a huge Nora Roberts fan and it is because of books like the one I just read. I read The Awakening which is the first book in the Dragon Heart Legacy and I loved every bit of it. I was so eager for November of 2021 to get here so I could continue on with Breen’s story. I am happy to say that Nora Roberts did not disappoint with The Becoming which is book 2 in The Dragon Heart Legacy.
The story picks right up from where the previous book left off and let me tell you that was a huge cliffhanger. This story is all about the continuation of Breen Siobhan Kelly and her journey between the two worlds. One world involves no magic and just the humdrum of everyday life but the same can not be said for the second world the one of Talamh. Talamh is a world where magic, magical creatures, and humans coexist. Where the internet and pop culture are not a thing and also neither are showers as we know them.
I do not want to say too much about this book because I do not want to give anything away from the first book. I will say though if you love strong female characters, magic, magical creatures/people friendships, romance, family, and crazy gods then this is the book and series for you.
It is my hope that if you decide to pick this story up that you become as invested in the characters and the world in which it takes place as I am. I am so eager for the third book in the series to be released on November 22, 2022. If you end up reading either the first book or the second book in the series please let me know because I am so eager to talk with someone about it. Happy Reading
