This haul is a little unplanned, but I decided to just go for it since May is my birthday month, after all. Reader, do you go with birthday month, birthday week, or simply just the day of your birthday when you are thinking about your birthday? Three of the books in this mini haul are from Book Of The Month, and then the fourth book is one I picked up for a new book club that I am in. I am very excited about this book club because it is part of a new Patreon that I have joined. Enough about that, though. I wanted to ask, did you know that if you are part of Book Of The Month for a year, then when your birthday month comes along, you get a free credit? So not only do you get your monthly credit, but you also get one more besides. Needless to say, I used both my credit and my birthday credit, and then I paid for another book because I just couldn’t help myself. So, let me get into this mini haul already.
Book Of The Month Picks:
I chose this first book because I had heard that it was part of a series, but seriously, don’t quote me on that. If it is, though, I already own the first two in the series, which are Part Of Your World and Yours Truly. I have only read Part Of Your World, but I loved it. I am eager to get to the next two over the summer because who doesn’t love some good romance books in the warmer months?

Ok, so Goodreads just confirmed it. This is the third book in a series. The series is called Part of Your World, and I am so excited about it because I loved the first book in the series.
I chose this next book because I believe I heard it compared to Sarah Penner’s books The Lost Apothecary and The London Seance Society, but I can’t be sure about that either. I do hope that it is true, though, because I really loved The Lost Apothecary and I liked The London Seance Society. The book I chose was Spitting Gold, and it is set in 1866 Paris. What is not to love, right?

I chose this next one because it is unlike anything I have read before. Yes, it is a time travel book, but it is done in such a unique way that it really intrigued me. It is also a Good Morning America Book Club Pick if that is something you are interested in when it comes to getting books. The book is called The Ministry Of Time by Kaliane Bradley.

Bookstore Book:
Last but not least, the book I chose for the new book club I am in is called The Honey Witch by Sydney J. Shields. If I am being honest, this is a book I would have picked up regardless of it being a book club pick because the description is fabulous, and the cover is stunning.

These are the books from my mini haul, and I am excited to read each one. I am hoping to read Just For The Summer this summer, and I will be reading The Honey Witch next month (June), so be on the lookout for that review. Have you heard of any of these books? Have you read any of them? Are you going to read any of them? Until Next Time, Reader, Happy Reading.
Oh, I almost forgot I am including my mini book haul video here, where I talk about these books and include clips of my drive to the bookstore. I hope you enjoy it.
