Thrifted Book Haul

Hello Reader, I am coming at you with my second book haul of the year, and I must confess that some of these books were gathered in the late fall and early winter right up until last week. The thing about having reading as your hobby is that it can be costly to get books to read; for some, that is just not feasible. I have gathered the books in this picture from a used library book sale, Goodwill, and a consignment shop. I truly believe that reading should be accessible to everyone because not only is reading enjoyable, but you can learn from it, and in my case, it can be incredibly beneficial for a person’s mental health. I know that even for some, thrifting books can be too costly, but I want to remind you that there are always libraries and little free libraries that one can visit. In fact, I often go to the library not just to save money but because I enjoy the vibe, and besides, it allows me to try out different authors I may not have picked up due to cost. Also, what about borrowing books from friends if you are lucky enough to have a friend or family member who enjoys reading? These are just suggestions, at any rate, but sometimes reminders can be nice.

Enough of the rambling about my love of reading, thrifting, and the library; let us dive into these books. Below, I will link each book in this photo to a Goodreads link so you Reader can decide if any of these books might interest you. I hope you find something that might pique your interest or even discover an author you haven’t heard of before.
